Producing

Kaliswa Brewster is a co-producer on Duke & Roya Off-Broadway, starring Insecure & Top Gun Maverick’s Jay Ellis and Lionness’ Stephanie Nor at The Lucille Lortel Theatre this summer.

She serves as President of the Board for Molière in the Park, the Brooklyn-based theater company bringing free, high-caliber productions to the LeFrak Center in Prospect Park. MIP’s Spring 2025 production of The Imaginary Invalid drew more than 10,000 audience members, transforming the park into a vibrant hub of shared laughter, language, and connection.

Her producing work spans theater, film, and digital media, with an emphasis on joy, resilience, and social impact. She has co-produced anti-racism workshops with Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis and a Juneteenth streaming special celebrating Black joy with Broadway director Charles Randolph-Wright. Additional credits include the short Pagliacci (Micheaux Film Festival), the podcast Black Voices Past and Present, and a range of social storytelling projects designed for the digital age.
